Ramsey Rural Museum

Disabled Facilities

Disabled access and facilities

We do have disabled parking and a disabled toilet.

Our toilet has recently been fitted with a radar key.

All our exhibits are accessible to wheelchair users apart from upstairs in
the stable block but we do have a film showing our upper floor for people
to watch from downstairs.

Our 1940s cottage was designed and built many years ago and is not suitable
for larger wheelchairs or mobility scooters.

We have concrete paths around the whole site and ramped access into some of
exhibition rooms.

Our barn annexe is an uneven cobbled type flooring. So extra care must be
taken.

We welcome all dogs to the museum but only assistance dogs are allowed into
the tearoom and reception area.
